This document isn’t overly technical, so should be of interest to a fairly broad range of people in various roles.
One thing worth mentioning is that although we talk in this document about software auditing (automatically collecting information about the software installed on the PCs that you manage); we don’t go into a lot of detail here about how that audit process itself works, (network auditing agents etc). You can find detailed technical information about the process of auditing your computer networks in our Network Auditing Strategies whitepaper. In this whitepaper we’ll talk more about how to organize and analyze that information once it’s already been obtained.
