Auditing Software Installations |
|
As mentioned in the prerequisites we won’t go into detail here about setting up auditing agents for ENT Server to automatically collect information about the software on your network. We’ll presume you’ve already set this up. If you need further information about this then please refer to either our Network Auditing Strategies white paper or the documentation for ENT NetCenter.
So we’ll assume that you already have an ENT Server (the central repository for all the information that you collect) and that you already have one or more PC/network auditing agents in place (which collect information about the software installed on the networks that you manage, and store this in your ENT inventory).

As such, you should already have one of the major pieces of the puzzle in place (i.e. you already have an audit of the software installations on your network).
