Auditing windows machines remotely using network auditing agents

The general procedure for auditing the windows machines on your network(s) remotely is:

1.

Install ENT Server on a single machine

2.

Install ENT NetCenter on the machines that your technicians use

3.

Use ENT NetCenter to discover and audit the machines on the network remotely

4.

[Optionally] install ENT Network Monitor(s) to monitor the machines on the network for faults and changes by performing regular network audits and/or audit the machines on any remote networks.

Network auditing is fairly straight forward in principal, but there are a number of things that you will have to be aware of in order to be able to successfully implement a network auditing solution in practice.
