License information

Microforge.net Enterprise Server provides access to a variety of tightly integrated modules that can be accessed using either your web browser or our windows applications (ENT NetCenter and ENT Report Forge). In order to use the modules on your Enterprise Server, you will require a user license of the software for each user that you would like to be able to access the various modules of Enterprise Server.

Licenses can be assigned to and unassigned from users at any time. So, if a user leaves your organization you can delete that user from your ENT Server and the user license that was assigned to that user will become available again.

Additionally, in order to be able to audit the hardware and software on machines that you manage, from the Inventory module in Enterprise Server, you will need a separate Machine Audit License (MAL)  for each machine that  you wish to audit. A single Machine Audit License allows you to audit a single machine as many times as you like. Machine Audit Licenses are transferable and if you remove a machine from your inventory permanently, the MAL that was assigned to that machine can then be attributed to another machine that you wish to audit.

You can find further information about the licensing for Enterprise Server on our web site at:

Note

Note: Web based access to Enterprise Server requires a Microsoft IIS web server and is only available for the Corporate Edition of Enterprise Server (since the Desktop Edition does not run on a web server).
