The Networks area of ENT NetCenter provides you with an overview of all of the networks that you manage. A network, in ENT NetCenter, is a logical group of machines. Typically, each of the networks that you define in ENT NetCenter will correspond to a single domain or workgroup that you manage.

Machine Details

The Machines area of ENT NetCenter allows you to view and record information about the machines that exist on all of the various networks that you manage. Much of the information relating to the machines that you manage can be obtained automatically using the hardware and software detection features of ENT NetCenter.

Installed Software

You can also easily find out what software is installed on the machines that you manage. This information can be compared to the media and licenses that you record in the Software section of your inventory to produce software legitimacy reports or alert you of overlicensed software products.

Software Media and Licensing

ENT NetCenter allows you to record the details of any media or licenses held for the software that is installed on the networks that you manage and use this information to generate reports or compare the licenses that you hold against what is actually installed and being used.
