I'm running ENT NetCenter on Windows 2000 and I can't audit any machines that have Windows XP installed. What could be the problem?
In Microsoft Windows XP, the default authentication level is changed from CONNECT to PACKET level. This results in a backward compatibility problem with Windows 2000.
If you are using ENT NetCenter on a system running Windows 2000 then you must have Service Pack 2 installed to be able to connect to WMI on computers running Windows XP.
