This article contains information relating to the 'WMI not installed' network status code that you may receive while trying to audit machines.

Article Details

If the network status of a machine after an audit is 'WMI not installed' or you receive an error such as 'Error connecting to MACHINE_NAME: 80040154: Class not registered' during a machine audit, this indicates that either WMI has not been installed or has been disabled on the machine that you are trying to audit.
