I’m trying with the sa login but I keep getting an authentication failure, even though the username and password is correct. What could be the problem.
ENT Server can be used with any verion of MSDE 2000, MS SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005 (including the Express edition).

Also, if you are installing the Corporate Edition of Enterprise Server, you might like to use the ENT DB Config Utility that ships with the software to configure your databases (rather than the web based interface), since this will be able to better detect any SQL Server databases that you have installed on your network.
