I'm getting an Unspecified error when I try to add a machine in Network Auditor and the program shows a bug report with the exception EDatabaseError. What can I do?
This indicates a problem with the database engine (MDAC) on your machine. MDAC is part of the Microsoft Windows operating sytem. We've had customers solve this problem by downloading and installing MDAC 2.8 from the Microsoft website so, if you don't have MDAC 2.8 or later installed already, the first thing to try would be installing this.If this does not work then we'd recommend you download and run the MDAC component checker, also from the Microsoft website, which will help you find any problems or inconsistencies with your MDAC installation.
